Job Title: RN L&D/OB
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery/Obstetrics to join our team. As an RN in L&D/OB, you will be responsible for providing care to women during childbirth and throughout pregnancy, as well as assisting with newborn care. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess the health of mother and baby during labor and delivery
- Assist with prenatal exams and postpartum care
- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as needed
- Educate patients on childbirth and newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery/Obstetrics
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
